Touch Pro quirks or can it be fixed?

OK I have searched and I found many answers to my questions However there are two questions I cant figure out.

First, my on screen keyboard pops up when I click to few a text. I mean it views the text but the keyboard pops up at the same time. How do I change that? I only want it to pop up if I click the icon.

Second, when I send a text I get a pop up box saying "your message was sent" or something like that. How do I dissable that? Seriously HTC do we need to know our message was sent? How about you just tell us when there is a problem with sending it so we can try again damnit. My mogul never told me the message was sent it just appeared in the threaded text.

Not sure about #1, perhaps you have a program conflict, but for #2 I think there is a solution:

Reg edit is in post 5 of this thread (you may need to read through a few posts after that) for the soft keyboard auto deploy issue, and take a look here for a solution on the message sent notification. Please try and search before posting in the future.

I have a cab file I downloaded months ago called superwootennosmsnotify.cab. It works great but I can't remember if I got it here or xda, you should be able to do a search for it and find it. if not let me know and I'll try to post it.
