BTW, I went to the race this weekend as well. I've never really watched NASCAR before, but that was one of the cooler things I've been to lately. Can't go wrong with some really loud things going round 'n round really fast.

Are you sure that isn't something like the NASCAR Live app? When I first read the post, I thought he was talking about receiving communications between the driver and the pit crew. For that, you would need an additional radio (ie hardware) in the TP. NASCAR drivers typically use frequencies in the 400 MHz radio band. So a radio to receive FM signals in that band would need to be incorporated.
