Daily/weekly maintenance: On/Off or soft reset?

I am wondering what everyone typically does with their TP during the night. On or off? If on, do you do a soft reset daily or weekly or SKTools to clean up things? I had a Q9c before and I typically left it on all the time but found it ran better if I did a soft reset every day or two and SKTools auto-clean once a week. It seems to me that my TP is running better if I leave it on all the time. I have been playing with it for a month now (tweaking), so I ended up doing a soft reset just about every day for some reason or another. I like my current set-up now so was wondering what the fine folks @ PPCGeeks suggested for daily/weekly maintenance.
