1. Apalachicola National Forest, FL (Near Tallahassee)
2. Currently Telus 1.04.05v as I'm ALWAYS roaming, and Sprint 1.11 didnt like that.

...but I'm going to be brave and flash that USCellular radio that was just posted today to see if there is any difference.

Detroit also. Had the telus running for a bit and the sprint 1.11. Just switched to the new USCellular today and seem to be getting even better signal than the 2 previous radios.

Well I'm in Long Island, NY (Hempstead) and on the sprint 1.11F radio, which I think is better than any of the other ones I tried. I'm on Verizon though, with a Sprint touch pro.

Merrick NY (Long Island) I tried both the Sprint 1.11F and Telus 1.04 and found no discernible difference between them in power consumption or reception. Both get better battery life but seem to put out more heat than the stock radio.

I have the 1.11 version and it works perfectly, the only problem i have ( and I had with the stock radio also) is that when i roam for some reason i never pick up an altell signal. The only reason i want to roam on alltell instead of verizon is because verizon doesn't offer evdo roaming and altell does. I have been unsuccessful at forcing it to roam on alltel instead of verizon. But other then that the 1.11 has given me better battery and better signal then the stock radio.
