Using the 1.11F of whatever one it is for Sprint. Baton Rouge, LA... one of those odd areas where voice is from Sprint on the PCS and EVDO is on the cellular band provided by Alltel without you really knowing it. I also run a modified PRL with all the extra channels cut out for my CID so my phone doesn't constantly search for EVDO on the PCS band. I can use the phone for 12 hours during work...moderate usage and have 60-70 percent battery when I leave work.

Middletown NY (45 mins north of the city)

Works great in strong areas but roaming is TERRIBLE

1. Apalachicola National Forest, FL (Near Tallahassee)
2. Currently Telus 1.04.05v as I'm ALWAYS roaming, and Sprint 1.11 didnt like that.

...but I'm going to be brave and flash that USCellular radio that was just posted today to see if there is any difference.

Well I'm in Long Island, NY (Hempstead) and on the sprint 1.11F radio, which I think is better than any of the other ones I tried. I'm on Verizon though, with a Sprint touch pro.

Detroit also. Had the telus running for a bit and the sprint 1.11. Just switched to the new USCellular today and seem to be getting even better signal than the 2 previous radios.

Merrick NY (Long Island) I tried both the Sprint 1.11F and Telus 1.04 and found no discernible difference between them in power consumption or reception. Both get better battery life but seem to put out more heat than the stock radio.
