i think there's your problem. when extracted it will be 115mb, so 115mb and 83.5 will not fit. can you delete some stuff to make room?

Total Commander is the name of the other program I was referring to and the desktop version supports these file types. Not positive about PPC version. nyhow, doesn't matter, PocketRAR does.

You should download and use pocketrar to open the ruu_signed.nbh and then copy it to the root of your card. Make sure you have a CDMA rom as you are finding out a GSM rom will "brick" your cdma phone.
