Soft keyboard lags first letter??

For some reason my soft keyboard doesn't type the first letter i enter unless a wait a second or two after I open up the text message to type in. It used to work fine but I installed the HD keyboard awhile ago and it hasn't worked correctly since, I am back on the orignional keyboard now. Does anyone know if this is a regedit or something?? Also I am using the compact qwerty if it matters.

My mogul does the same thing. The phone just cant keep up. It needs a second to load because its a phone and its slow basicly. Back when yours was new it was a little faster didnt have as much stuff on it. Basicly your phone is just still loading its messages screen and you are trying to type. It just doesnt register that first key. I just wait or hit space first lol.

Yea I do the same thing lol but I don't think it is because its cluttered since it worked fine until I installed the HD keyboard so I'm hoping someone will know what the deal is because I really don't wanna hard reset since I finally have my phone perfect except for this.

well, not a regedit, but a suggestion: MightyROM 4.16

I can tell you that this is my third Touch Pro all for the same reason. at first it will lag. then the keys would stick. then finally the keyboard went completely. i hope this is not what you have coming your way, but if it does happen just return the phone for a new. they will insist on a Refurb one. i would get the refurb one because the past two i had were brand new and had the same issue.
