Just droped my phone and shattered screen

they cant do anything in store for an physical damaged phone. such as you dropping it and screen being broke. they use to. but not no more. your only option is to go through insurance (ausiron) sprint repair center wont do it. if they do do it, it might cost you as some technicians also do it under the table. but as far as it not going to cost you anything with or without insurance you still have to pay because like mentioned last yr sprin changed policy that repair centers cant repair physical damaged phones in store.


also the cost is still $50 it dont go up to $100 until 18th this month.

what about flashing your phone with a GSM rom and bricking it.
then tell sprint it doesnt work hehe

(theoretically speaking...would that work?)

Same thing happened to me earlier this week. My screen was cracked...and i also had a custom rom on it....I went through Sprint Insurance wtih Asurion. They don't care about any of that...They just want the phone back. you can keep the battery, stylus, all the extra stuff that came with the phone. They sent me an entirely new touch still in the box with all the accesories...so now i have two of everything.

I filed my claim on Monday and got my phone on Wednesday. They billed my account for 50 dollars....No harm done...and i have my new touch pro.

That is awesome to hear, I will do the same. I also dont have the cash atm to pay so it is nice to know I can tack it on to the next bill.
