If there is a crack in your screen that would not be covered under ESRP and it would be $119 to repair. If you have insurance i would reccomend going that route since at the moment it is $50 until 4/19 when it goes up to $100

Just got off the phone from company in my area that showed up as the sprint repair center. She said that a cracked screen requires a replacement phone. She mentioned that the price is going to be $100, i questioned her on it being the 19th and she said she would not know until they filed the claim. I will have to stop in there today and check it out. Thanks for the help again.

BTW just though of this as I saw the link above. Why would I even have to go to the repair shop if I can do the whole claim right from asurions website???

at the moment sprint stores do not process insurance claims instore so yes you would have to call asurion or do an online claim. The fee is still $50 atm. not sure why they didn't just refer you to Asurion

last question before I send this baby in for a new one. I still have the dyed cover, someone mentioned that for a repair that does not matter, should it matter when I send in my phone?

the only way you are going to find out is if you send it in. dont rely on someone else to do your light work, just do it yourself.

that being said... it is a shame that the TP is so fragile. i can remember the old blue sanyo that you could bounce like a ball and it still worked

I believe you can keep the back cover, if you have insurance just call sprint, tell them your situation, add the deductible to your next month's bill and receive the new/refurb replacement in the mail in 2-3 days. I kept all the accessories, battery, back cover and stylus, nothing happened, they just want the device itself, pretty much they just want the main board back.

Asurion actually does next business day delivery now. you will get a new battery cover with the new unit just send that back with your damaged phone.

By 3 day I mean next business day, considering first day for processing, then second day it is shipped out and 3rd day you receive it.
