KUDOS for helping out abused women... speaking as one who was lucky to escape a COP GOD BLESS YOU. they might not be able to express all the appreciation but they do appreciate everything that helps them.

ya its clear and clean, yes im a sprint man. ill give you a call sunday before 1 pm but after 12am. so ill say 12:30. its also got a rubber case that sounds like i better leave on. lol its totally stock, no flash. you can put anything you want on it. sleep well, ill get you chating again.

Just out of curiosity, and not to be a smart a $ $, but how are you thinking that you can go the the Sprint store and get a Treo Pro for $200 or a Touch Pro for $300 for that matter? Did you pay full price for your current Touch Pro? Obviously it wasn't a Mogul swap from insurance as you don't have insurance...

Unless I am mistaken you only get the new customer price once every 22 months or 12 if you're a premier customer.

I have 2 phones and 2 plans and 2 upgrades. I paid $300 for the touch pro and would pay $200 for the palm pro. one upgrade for 1 phone and another upgrade for another phone. and actually my touch pro ended up being $100 after the best buy rebate and the sprint rebate. thank you very much.

I was on the phone with a Sprint rep the other day that told me that TEP (insurance) can be added to an account whenever a phone is activated - new phone or not, and that TEP covers the phone that is currently active on the account - new (purchased from Sprint) or not (ebay, 2nd hand, etc). It wouldn't hurt to see if you can add it when you activate Darren's phone, and possibly re-activate your broken TP at a later date to see if insurance can cover it. Not the most ethical thing to do (depending on who you ask), but really you would have claimed it had you had the insurance to begin with...

Oh, and I have to second jsvt3 above - Darren, you surely are a stand up guy!

Just a thought, Wouldn't the OP be able to activate this phone on the account for a few days and then add TEP to the account so she can place the TP back and file a claim?? I'm sure that TEP is going to be a must now anyways.

Wow. This was deep, man. Definitely have huge respect for you. As many phones as I have just laying around here, I never thought to donate them. I usually just save them for friends/family too silly to have insurance. Definitely planted a seed, man.......
