Don't Shoot!!! BlackBerry Backup Contacts File to HTC Touch Pro

I don't want to get flammed over this, so please, be easy...

I have a back up file from my BlackBerry 8830 (.ipd file) How, if possible, which I'm told it is, can I upload my contacts to my new phone?

do you have outlook on your pc? can you sync your bb to it? then you can transfer that way.i'll dig a little...

Or you can use Google Sync for Blackberry, freely upload all your contacts & appointments to Google, then set up Google Sync and sync your contacts back to your HTC Touch Pro.

A little time consuming, and I'm sure it could work, but I'm not sure if you guys understand my question. I have a backup file, in which I would like to know if there is a way to convert it so that i can upload my contacts (Just names and numbers) to my Touch Pro.

Just take both phones into a sprint store they can transfer them for you. Takes like 5 mins

PAAAHAAA!!! But wouldn't I have to find 2 Sprint stores, and they would have to be right next door to each other?
