advise on saving my current Manilla setup...

Ok, I have been playing around with this sucker for a few weeks now, and I still havent gotten the right programs on it that I want, but I have gotten the today screen setup how I like. the bad part is how I get it that way... I tend to flash it about once a day, on average, but some days like today I go nutz and flash it a lot more... i think today I managed about 15 - 20 flashes... Now my problem is setting up my home screen in touch flow when I think I have a flash I like.

Here is how I do it:

Flash the ROM. (duh...)
install Diamond config. change the theme in Diamond config to one I found that I like, black Diamond.

Install Manilla Customizer. Use Customizer to change the top and bottom curtain to clear, and the clock to any one that has a clear background.

Go to my big file-O-cabs on my memory card and install the cab for background on all tabs.

File-O-cabs again and install Sprint Chrome Clock, Sprint Chrome Tray, and Sprint Chrome Icons.

Now remember that theme I installed at the begining? All that is left is the slider...

Now with the TouchFLO settings tab I apply the wallpaper of my desire out of my file-O-wallpapers on my card.

I now get to install a few programs that I really like since I cant find them in OEM's anywhere, but thats for another post at a later time...

All in all, it takes me about 20 mins to get my Touch Pro looking like I want after a new flash. Im sure some of you great minds have a simple way that I can save the theme that I have installed right now, as it is, so next time I flash this thing I dont have to go through so many steps... I think I did this whole process about 5 times today. its getting a bit old.

Thanks.

Re: advise on saving my current Manilla setup...

For the manila why not just zip up your manila once you have it set the way you like.. search all your _manila files and zip... might work depending on the manila version in hte rom you choose. Other than that you can do one less step is save your 1e29e8e7_manila file from the theme you have installed, that is the slider icon... you can then put it in your customizer and select it. Also, set up customizer with the clock and icons that (chrome) then you can also select them at will all in one program.

Sounds like it is about time to invest a few hours into learning to setup an SDConfig file to automate the process for you:

Why donate to one person, when you can support the site that makes it all possible instead

Re: advise on saving my current Manilla setup...

very simple solution. The TF3D theme you like, simply save all the _manila files to your desktop....keep them there.
When you need to revert/load that theme, replace the _manila files in /windows on the TP with the files you saved to your desktop....

Also can build those _manilla files into a cab file and install the cab after you flash......
