Re: FPSEce on the Touch Pro

oh ok. i was trying to figure out why i couldnt find it anywhere but thanks for mentioning that. Btw, does anyone know how to speed up the FPS on my touch pro (Im using 0.96)? Ive tried many things like frame skip, turning off sound, turning off the fps counter, and tweaking settings. The game im trying to play is Twisted Metal 4 and while ive heard many people talk about how well it runs, no one ever tells how to do it

Re: FPSEce on the Touch Pro

I can also get games to load on FPSECE 9.6 but only get 12-20FPS and not really playable. If anyone can upload a working FPSECE.ini config file that would be sweet.

Re: FPSEce on the Touch Pro

How do you set up the controls? I loved playing PocketGBA and MorphGear on my Treo, but on the TP, there's no convenient directional pad.

Do you use the keyboard or on-screen controls? I assume you can only play RPGs or strategy games with these controls?

Hey. On morph gear and any NES emulators I've tried I needed to use the K-touch program that helps with keyboard mapping.

With FpseCE it was not needed. I can confirm this with 9.5 and 9.6 I am on Juicy 7 rom though. Just go to Joypad settings, and assign buttons.

I have WASD for directions and IOJK for Circle Square Triangle and Cross

Re: FPSEce on the Touch Pro

Just wondering if this is worth trying out with the insufficient amount of hardware keys. But I'd love to be able to play the OG Resident Evil.

You can set display to landscape right and set the keys to the keyboard.

Re: FPSEce on the Touch Pro

FpseCE site is totally down today. Which is so weird, I've been following the FpseCE project for years and just started trying to get it going yesterday again. Maybe its in preperation of FpseCE 1.0!!! that would be sweet. Its rumored to have VGA drivers although I dont know if it will work with TP. It's a shame more people aren't actevly working on getting it running, it is so close.

I'm gonna test with the Technology graphcs drivers and see if it makes a difference. I know on 9.6 it seems to run really high FPS (like 60-80fps) and screen resolution reads the correcct size but you cant see anything.

Anyone with a working Fpsece.ini file to upload?

? the only ones that I know of is NeoVG OpenGL drivers with the gfxBoost but if you could link where you are getting this new driver, that would be awesome.
