Full screen caller id

Hi! I have had my tp for about 4 months now...and I am still waiting for full screen caller id!

On my mogul I used slide to unlock, only for the full screen caller id and loved it!..and I have that installed on my touch pro but it flashes the full screen caller id picture (and looks soo clear and nice!) for about a sec then goes back to the factory smaller caller id pic, with the touch to answer....Can anyone help me out! either by giving me a program that does a full screen picture caller id? Or just how to make slide to unlock on top, without having the factory incoming call pop up!

On a side note...The crappy Helio Ocean also did video caller id, if anyone made a program for that ( i think the touch pro should have enough ram for that) VIDEO CALLER ID! that would be sweet, download a music video to play!

That was fast!!!! I can see paying 20 bucks for a program that does all that! but, I dont see paying 20 bucks for just wanting a full screen caller id.

The Ocean did a lot of interesting things, it was a GREAT phone when it was brand new, but that was so long ago now, and that's still Helio's flagship phone. I don't think the phone has recieved a single firmware update over its entire lifetime... it needs one pretty desperately. That was my phone before my TP.

S2U2 should support full screen caller ID, if you use their slide-to-answer.
Pocketshield, too -- full screen caller ID as long as you use its built in side-to-answer. I rather like pocketshield so it's probably worth looking in to.

Something I noticed about the full screen caller ID though, it seemed to add a little more delay in the ringer.

s2a has NOTHING to do with s2u2's full screen function...

turning it off(s2u2) however OP, may fix ur issue where its competeing for the screens.... and IMHO v1.35 of s2u2 is the best 1.5 and 1.52 are really buggy

Huh?

I didn't think I mentioned anything about the dialer's slide to answer in relation to S2U2.

S2U2, in case you didn't know, has its own slide-to-answer, made to work with the stock dialer

We are almost to the answer! Love you auto x pic by the way.....Anyway, I downloaded the trial of that programs in the 2nd post and don't like it as much.


So, I still want to use slide to unlock, but how could I make slide to unlock the I guess you would call it the default caller id? Is it a registry edit? Like I said before I love s2u but it pops up for 1 sec then goes back to the factory caller id small picture.

The only other thing I am thinking is I am using a version for an old phone, I have been using the same one since my Mogul...does anyone have a link to the one that works for the mogul? Please link me!

I think what you're looking for is kind of a special case.

This TP is my first smartphone, or anything running windows mobile, so I can't really speak about any programs that I've seen in the past, sorry I am sure, like you say, someone has made a full screen caller ID app, but I'm unaware of it.

Try this in your S2U2 settings:

In the phone section...
Set Caller ID to "Full Screen"
Set Slide to Answer to Off

I don't have another phone around to call myself with, but what does it do when you have it set that way? You may have to pick up the call using the phone's hardware keys though.

ok well, this issue of mine still has not been fixed! Can anyone send me a link to a slide to unlock that works on your touch pro!....The versions I use wont use the full screen caller id
