So I have this downloaded to my phone, how do I move it to the windows directory to use it?

I use this stewie ring for my son's caller id ring... its kinda funny cause he used to always leave me voice messages on my home phone that are never ending "mamas" then finally, "oh nevermind"... when my phone is in my deskdrawer at work and he calls everyone looks around for him..sounds almost like him too!

And my general ringtone is from an old nintendo game.. bubblebobble..

go to programs "file explorer" navigate to the ringtone you just downloaded and then press/hold on the file name with your stylus. you will have a popup that allows you to cut/copy... navigate to your windows folder and then go to menu/edit/paste

NOTE: .wav files to be used as text sounds must be placed in the windows directory. Then go to start>settings>notifications The second tab is where you change them

Ha that's hillirous. When I looked at the thread. I was thinking, "I should tell them about my "You've got mail" email notification. Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought it was a good idea.

The reason I did it is because it can't be confused with anything. When you hear "You've got mail", you KNOW what it means. When you have a device that can beep for dozens of events, it's easy to get them confused.


My ringtone is the old classic bell ringtone. That can't be confused with anything else either.
