Re: Sprint TP on Verizon UPDATE! (NO LONGER WORKING)

I manually updated the PRL to 51190 & that worked perfectly so I never changed it (I know there are a couple newer ones available). 51190 got rid of the roaming triangle, but of course a *228 option 2 update would cause it to come back as the VZ PRL was not compatible with the Sprint PRI 1.47.003 which is what is in my phone now. I never really worried about roaming too much as VZ doesn't charge for roaming on a nationwide data/voice plan. At this point, I'm kinda paranoid about making ANY CHANGES that might affect my VZ activation. My phone running Mighty 4.16 works absolutely perfect at this point (by far the best phone I've ever owned) & I would be seriously p!ssed if I made a change & it messed up my VZ activation & I couldn't get it activated again. ~John |

I got my phone to work on verizon. You have to get someone to add your MEID to their database and once it's added you can activate it. Also on verizonwireless.com it says I have a touch pro and even shows a pic of it. I don't have data yet though and I still have a roaming triangle and a it says i'm roaming all the time

Re: Sprint TP on Verizon UPDATE! (NO LONGER WORKING)
yes i have read the post and nowhere does it state what people did. i know it works if done right. no one here said they changed the msl code and placed a vzw prl on the phone. so if i were you i would think twice before posting what you did, after all did you read all the pages?

Link to Verizon PRI courtesy of bored.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49933 Its the second file. PPST146.cab I think its called. As for the ERI I don't think its on the forums, but you can get that from any verizon branded phone if you hook it up through QPST. |
