I don't think that should ever happen, as far as I know there is no receiving limit setting (sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong). I've never done anything special for that and receive fairly large pictures/MMS pretty regularly.

maybe it isn't a size limitation i am having then, but i have never received any pic msgs to my phone from a VZW customer. pics from AT&T customers are hit and miss. i don't have a lot of ppl sending me pics, so i really don't know if it is due to the person sending it or if it is a general carrier/size issue i am having. i can send pics back and forth from my phone to my wifes and vice versa all day long.

That's weird and crappy... perhaps a sneaky doing by your wife to keep you from trading pictures with other chicks... lol, jk (obviously).

Uhm, maybe uninstall, soft-reset, run that remover cab, soft-reset, then reinstall it?

It really makes no sense to me, but for some reason that seems to help some people with weird issues.

If you're able to test with someone who has Verizon, does your phone wake up as if it should be receiving a message?

i will see if i can get someone to send me a pic so i can test it out. oh, and my wife is techno-retarded. she can't figure out how to make a phone call on my phone so i highly doubt it is a conspiracy. although she is getting better. she is able to open up uno and play it now lol.

One concern: I installed to my Card before reading through all the posts and don't seem to be having any issues, but it's still early.

If I decide I need to install it to my device, what steps do I need to take?

Do I do it the same as the 1st post: run uninstall Sprint PM cab, soft reset, then the arcsoft cab, reset

Or do I need to do something different?

I am the OP. That is for compatibility sake. Although, when you compose a message to someone with Verizon, and you set the limit higher, say 5meg. just remember not to go that high for that person.

I have never had that problem from a verizon person sending me something. Can you find out what modle phone they are using to send? I once forwarded a email with a bunch of pictues to [mynum]@pm.sprint.com and acrcsoft gave me an error saying it was a invalid format, and it was online.

I think the recieve limit is set to 99 meg.... I seriously doubt sprints servers would send something that large.

Theoretically It shouldn't make a diff. I hard coded the paths in the CAB, so it should be installed on your phone, even if you selected your sdcard. Haven't tested it myself though. If you take out your card, and it still works, then you are good.
