Re: Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 From Sprint With Threading MMS

Working as its supposed to on my device. I am still bummed out about it though.

I prefer threaded messaging, however I still want to keep the pictures separate from the rest of the messages. Like have it operate under another outlook profile versus SMS/MMS in one. Its gonna be a pain in the *** to try and find a picture a friend sent to you that you also text with on a regular basis... having to scroll endlessly till you find that stupid little icon.

Unless somebody has a solution....?

If that's really your preference... honestly, the leaked PictureMail (not the one from PowerDeck) really did work fine for me. If you want it and cannot find it, let me know and I'll put it up somewhere.

I appreciate the offer. I'll poke around and see what I can find.

I think the overall thing that I am wanting to find is somewhat of a mix between the picmail from powerdeck, and this nifty threaded stuff.

For SMS'es, threaded is the way to go.
For MMS'es, threaded is the way to go.

Should they be together? IMO, no.

"Oh Bob, let me show you this funny picture Lynn sent me the other day... just gotta find it in the pile of SMS messages shes also sent me since then."

It would be much easier to have a threaded picturemail folder, apart from the threaded SMS folder, select Lynn's thread, and see all date/timestamped MMS messages you have exchanged with her.

Or maybe I'm out in lala land on this one. The older version of Arcsoft at least put the pictures in the separate thread from the texts in the SMS/MMS folder. Made them somewhat easier to find, however it created a new thread for every image received, even sequential ones from the same person (ala regular non threaded), which was an annoyance, but I could deal with it if I could move them to another folder. I might simply drop back to that older version.

I dunno..

Create a folder on your mem card, or on the phone, and save all the imags from your friend there
