Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 From Sprint With Threading MMS - Page 10

i've been using arcsoft since it was first posted in here, and this version has a few differences i noticed. the ***.70.*** version opened the picturemail directly when you clicked on it through tf3d, but this version opens the conversation window. not a big deal, but its a difference... that, and this one actually threads your outgoing mails too, which is really cool.

Is this on a Stock ROM? 70.24 did true threading, but not on the stock rom. So I assume that you have stock. I added the Threading template from my Might Rom that I had on my phone to try to fix the threading on stock, and never tested it.. It also made the CAB automatically have you soft-reset. So it killed 2 birds with one stone

I'm running the Stock ROM, ran the install as posted, followed all the instructions, everything seemed to install, no errors. However, could not send or receive pictures. Anytime I launched the app my phone would become unresponsive only as far as the messaging component. Other apps would launch fine. I checked the sprint MMS server and the unreceived pictures were there, and the pictures I tried to send were not. I re-ran the scrubber cab, reinstalled the stock picture mail cab from powerdeck... no picture mail. I had to hard reset to get back to normal. I really wanted to free up an email slot and incorporate mms with sms.

I'm still using 5.0.70.24, but I'm trying to figure out if it is causing my data connection to revert to 1x when I'm tethering.

Anyone else with this arcsoft mms experience your connecting switching from evdo to 1x while tethered (phone as modem)? I just installed the mode of operation cab and set my phone to evdo only ( of course I can't get incoming calls then), but still... it never did this before.

Like all previous versions of Arcsoft, all my messaging shortcuts become unresponsive right after I send a pic. They do start working after a couple minutes. Older versions, when I had a vogue I'd have to soft reset to use my messaging again.

This could just be my imagination, heh... but have any of you guys had the spacebar on your hardware keyboard not work sometimes (i.e. have to push it a few times) since installing this latest version? Maybe I am just losin' it. Hah.
