Anyone else have a D1 Easecase from eBay?

I just got my D1 Easecase from eBay. It's actually my second one. The first one was way too long for my TP so they sent me another one. I gave them the exact dimensions of the TP, but this second D1 Easecase is around 2mm too long. My TP can be pushed forward and backwards lengthwise in it still.

I emailed them about it and asked if they could just make me another one using the exact dimensions I gave them (I would pay for it of course) and they said they made it this way because if they made the D1 Easecase the dimensions I gave them, it would be difficult to remove the TP from the Easecase.

I don't buy that explanation. Anyone else get this kind of response from them?

Not knowing anything about it...

How do you get that out of there? I assume it's a belt clip holder....

Looks kinda of tight how it is. Any smaller, and might be hard to get out. +1 for more pics.

I have their case and yes there is a tiny amount of room on the end but I have no complaints. Any tighter and it would be really hard to remove. The case quality is awesome. For those looking at the pic, the sides are shorter than the height of the case so your fingers can grab the phone there to pull it out. The cases are custom made so you can make requests. I had one side made extra short so the USB port could be accessed while in the case and also had a hole placed in the bottom of the case so I could put a finger through there to help push the phone out.

I like my side cases snug. With this Easecase, if I turn it over with the flap open, my TP slides right out.

I looked at those cases before I got my current case. There is no doubt in my mind that a custom fit case for the Touch Pro is worth that much money. In my opinion the most important accessory for my device is a proper case combined with any screen protector from DAY 1 , keeping these touch screens mint is number one priority , but a proper case can make or break the device literally. The first day I had my VX6600 , I secured it in its Verizon branded 'Universal' holster case and took off across the shop to go to a production meeting and saw something go sliding across the floor in front of me. To my surprise when I stopped to see what it was , it just so happened to be somebodys nice new PDA phone with a shattered screen, oh yeah it was mine. Less than 2 hours it was destroyed!!!!

Since then I dont play with cases that dont fit. The case I just got for my Verizon Touch Pro I got on Amazon for 6 bucks and it is for the Voyager but its a perfect fit for the Verizon Touch Pro. If anything its a little tight but loosened up after the first couple days and I would much rather it was a little to tight than being loose.

i got the easecase and i just ordered from their CDMA touch pro product, perfect fit, and i had them take one side and cut halfway so it's easy to get out

I have the A1 from them.

I provided them the Dummy phone to make cases for the TP.

That aside, what they are telling you is correct, you need room for the phone to pivot on to be removable. If you want the case tighter, you need a hole in the bottom to push the phone straight up and out.

So yes, I believe them, they make the D1 for several other phones, and they do have a Dummy CDMA TP to model from thanks to me!
