VJFastOff Instantly shut down the phone
Greetings. I found this little tool developed by vijay555, over at xda-developers. Its a small (10kb) exe file that'll instantly shut down your phone----
WARNING!!!! DO NOT PUT IN STARTUP FOLDER !!!!!? 'It's very simple - no warning dialogs, no shutdown animations, it just instantly shuts down the phone (like pressing and holding power, but faster). Please make sure you've finished what you're doing before launching this app. No frills or installer.' http://www.vijay555.com It was made for the htc blackstone, but its confirmed working (by me) on the Touch Pro. That's why i put it in this forum for anyone interested, instead of the software forum. dschoenike Last edited by dschoenike; 03-13-2009 at 09:00 PM. |

Re: VJFastOff Instantly shut down the phone
i just moved the file to my start menu. Bring up the start menu, click vjfastoff, and your device will turn off. Guess you could just access it from file explorer.. just need to click it start up may be bad since its a "turn of the device" tool. dang, hope he can get his phone back on w/o a hard reset. sorry

Re: VJFastOff Instantly shut down the phone
It wouldn't work anyway... when it's a software issue the FIRST thing they will do is hard-reset your device, which would wipe this out.
