Help my full qwerty is stuck on numbers and symbols - Page 2

this doesn't work if you have applied the t9 fix.
To fix the problem you should go to diamond tweak and change the keyboard setting back to normal and soft reset.

I dont have Diamond tweak installed but I did have TF3D Config installed. I have uninstalled everything possible but it still messes up. When I install the word completion hack it fixes it for a short while and then it's back to numbers again. Very annoying since I like to quick reply with the on-screen keyboard. I first noticed it messing up in Total Commander so I un-installed that too but it didnt work. Any thoughts?

I had this problem and temporarily used another keyboard, like the "Exidler 1FingerKeyboard Nividia Edition v1.4.1" until I got around to a fix, but then a new rom came out and I just flashed on 2 greener pastures.
Its an excellent keyboard that has 2 be clicked on, in the programs folder, to be activated,so check the thread.
I know this is not a solution, but the fix for this problem can vary depending on what programs installed are conflicting/trying to adjust the keyboard.

basically what i found out about the diamond tweak and pros and cons: do not enable cleartype in landscape mode, if you enable t9 you get word completion but it will mess with everything, disable t9,everything works but no word completion.

this happens to me from time to time. to fix it go into your registry editor. HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\Ime. change CurrentET9Style to 0.

The only way it got fix I did a clear storage and it reset evrything back to factory settings before you do that back up everything you downloaded.

OMG!!!!!!!!! x1000 I had the samething happen to me awhile back I when I installed some themes it changed the keyboard to some strange numbers n symbols letters and for the life of me I couldn't find a fix for me searched high and low still a no go tried EVERYTHING possible. And I really missed using the phone to send quick text msg with one hand but knew I didn't wanna hard reset the phone. But whoever you are you are a GOD send that hack fixed the keyboard! Thanks!

I just uninstalled the word completion hack. When I did the t9 reverted back to 1. I changed it to 0 and now the keyboard is back working without word completion hack. I'll try it to see if it changes back to 1, which is what happens after using the word completion hack to get it working again. It seems to work for awhile and then it reverts back to 1 apparently. I hope this makes since.
