Re: How to Android your TP

Don't even bother; they haven't figured out yet why colors are 256-color mode for the RAPH800.

But Android 1.1 on my Developer Edition'ed G1 is the cat's meow. Too bad someone at HTC doesn't leak a bootloader that allows native Android on the RAPH800 and RAPH10x because you know they have it internally.

Re: How to Android your TP

http://connect-utb.com/index.php?opt...ownload&cid=24

its really simple, just read the guide. connect ur phone, copy the TMP folder to ur storage card.

also, just from personal experience, do actually reboot ur phone when it says to, cause it wont work otherwise

but on a side note, its true that andriod doesnt work more than it does.

Re: How to Android your TP

Ok. I tried them. Heres how to do it. and the cool thing is it wont hard reset your phone. (at least is didn't hard reset mine)

Goto

http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...rrentx20.state

then scroll down till you see

Latest builds @ Connect-UTB(click here)

then download version 0.8. save the exe to your memory card and launch exe from phone. Do not touch phone until the screen calibration comes up. then wait, and hit the home button. Then wait again until you see the main screen. Its kinda sucks, but i guess its cool to show off until they fix it us some more. Enjoy!

According to the XDA wiki that is not true, they have found out why:
Quote:
RAPH800 color issue has been identified, and can be fixed by changing mdp.c, line 235 to this:

dma2_cfg |= DMA_DSTC0G_6BITS | DMA_DSTC1B_5BITS | DMA_DSTC2R_5BITS;
Still waiting to confirm what implications this has on RAPH100.
