Date Covering the battery Icon

Hello PPCGeeks,

So yesterday, after the time changed I noticed my phone didn't spring forward. Though it said that it did in the morning, it still showed as being an hour behind. Last night just before bed, I soft reset thinking that would solve the problem. Turns out it made it worse by adding the date over the battery icon. I've searched the forum for "Date covering battery icon" and a mixture of the the words and have come up short. I uninstalled and reinstalled the start icons, theme, and rom. I also unchecked the "display time in all windows box" and the date still appears. Any suggestions?

Not sure why your taskbar is screwed up, but here is the thread with the MS daylight savings time fix.

Re: Date Covering the battery Icon

I had this same issue randomly one day. Not even sure it was the right date at the time... though it might have just been cut off as I was seeing '2/2'. Unfortunately I wasn't able to fix it and couldn't find anyone who had the same problem so I did a hard reset. If I you find out what caused it and how to fix it I would be interested in knowing in case it ever happens again... sucks!

What was the last thing you installed on the phone? Mine was the Arcsoft picture mail I believe...

PS. Nice theme you have there!

Thats the thing, I didn't install anything. All I did was soft reset the phone. so that the DST would work and then, BOOM!! Date and time was covering my battery icon!!

P.S. Thanks and the theme is by PROBEX over at SPJ.

Thumbs up Re: Date Covering the battery Icon

I had the same problem happen to me. If you use the program " Diamond Tweak " There is a section on it " 5. Title Bar " go to the " 5.2 Date and Time " and set it to " Time(Default) " This will clear up that problem. It was so annoying..............

Re: Date Covering the battery Icon

You could try doing this...... download a trial version of SKTools http://s-k-tools.com/index.html?m_downloads.html if u don't have it already & then open the app up & go into Tuneup & click on system tweaks, scroll down to "Date & time on top bar" & make sure only Time is stated right underneath. If not, just change it by clicking on the arrow on the drop menu @ the top of your device & highlight time. Click done & soft reset. Hope this helps
