Unlock your phone following the directions here.

As for the radio flash, I have step by step directions of how to flash the Telus Radio in my signature. Pretty easy, only 7 steps.

i have effectively unlocked the phone and iam following your 7 steps GoodGets, i am having trouble downloading the rar and extracting it to my desktop though.. hmmm any help? so i need windows mobile up and running?

Hey Goodhets i went unlocked the phone, then i fianlly completed your 7 steps with the help on WInRAR and everything went well, is there a way i can check to see if i did it correctly and am using telus?

ok so i have now gone here...http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 to unlock my phone

then went here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=503 and followed the 7 steps for the Telus Radio

1.Is there a way i can check to see if i did the flash to the Telus Radio correctly?

2.Do you guys think this will fix my low signal or receiving calls and texts problem?

i just want my phone to be reliable and pick up every call/text placed to me

let me know guys, thanks for your help thus far everyone.

looks like you did it right. click on start-settings-system-device information, and you'll see radio version. It might help your reception problems. If not, then try another radio. Sometimes though, if you have bad reception where you are, then you have bad reception and you're gonna miss calls and stuff.

alright looks like ill have to test it out and stuff. what would be other top radios to try if the telus radio doesnt work well for me?

I have Sprint and I use Radio 1.11 and have no problem and reception here in Florida isn't the best. Who is your carrier?
