dtndvm, any links to where you got it from???
this could be. i installed g-alarm then uninstalled but the registry fix was obviously in place...

Re: Daylight Savings.....

I think it's a network issue. If you open your dialer-menu-options-timesynchroniztion and update the time, it changes my timezone to eastern....

so eventually it should just change it automatically then? i know pressing update will fix it immediately, but i want to find a solution for the next dst adjustment... if it's just a network issue, it should eventually update soon when my phone resyncs time.

That's what I thought too...I did a soft reset and, when my phone reconnected with the network, I expected the time to be corrected. It was still off by 1 hour. I installed the fix cab, did a soft reset, and it then came up with the correct time when it reconnected to the network. Does anyone know the protocol the phone follows for syncing the time? Shouldn't a soft reset force it to resync with the network?

Re: Daylight Savings.....

I installed this update/fix back in Dec when I first got my phone, installed g-alarm one month later gave me the windows bug message, soft reset, and my clock didn't update properly this morning either. It's great to know I'm not the only one.

i installed the fix for my tp and it worked, then i was reminded here of the synch update in phone settings. i also have a diamond with galarm and it didnt update either today. at about noon i went into the phone synch settings and pressed update... it wouldn't update after trying multiple times, so i soft reset and tried again.. finally updated by pressing it after a soft reset. Kinda weird... but didn't have to use the fix.

Re: Daylight Savings.....

Mine updated fine with no patch, but all my appointments are off by an hour now. Kind of weird. It might be unrelated though. last time I flashed and restored my appointments they were off too and I had to fix them.

I remember the last time change at 2am it went back to 1am, then when it hit 2am again, it did it again! Pretty retarded. It fixed itself next time it synced with the network.

Re: Daylight Savings.....

Mine updated the time, but some of my appointments are off by an hour and for the life of me I can't find a way to fix them... They have the correct time on my computer, and if I try to edit them on my TP, they come up with the correct time on the edit screen, but show one hour late everywhere else... That's annoying...
