Perhaps he is one that searches well and finds the answers to his questions without having to ask and doesn't throw in a post just to make a comment like I just did? Look my post count went up one more from making this comment! WOO HOO!!!

I've been considering the same. Even with the Seidio extended battery it's very frustrating trying to get through a day.

I struggle with giving up all the "cool stuff" that I can do with the pro but I find that the BB is responsive, works great for all things communication based and just works.

I think that if I make the move it will be when the rumored 9630 comes as the browsing experience is much better.

Battery does suck when compared to BB, i'll admit... but I don't browse too much, I only really use it for Exchange Push Mail... occasional games, and just F'in around with stuff...

switching from a ppc to a blackberry must've struck you as something as well. reason you viewed the thread.

i viewed it as rather 'different'. similiar to switching from a lamborghini to a ford contour. reasons can be found as to why...like more ashtrays, better handling etc. but would still be an odd switch in most peoples eyes, in my opinion.

haha. Yeah I have been around a while. I am definitely one of those guys that sits back and learns a lot before he becomes a regular poster. I have cooked my own roms for my 6700. I also do check back here frequently to see some updates.

For starters I was really interested if anyone was going to get the FM radio working on the TP.

This 3rd TPro has been night and day compared to the first two. Its faster, its smoother and it seems like I did just get a bad deal twice in a row. I am glad she gave me a brand new one this time.

Yes, I do have a full time job I am working on a dual PhD in Advertising and Psychology. I dont have a lot of time to post on forums. I used to be a very active poster on another forum but for some reason forum stuff jumped in to my ACTUAL life. So I am hesitant.

Thanks for the input guys. I am hoping I have better luck with this one haha

As for my uses, I am a textaholic so that is really primary issue 1. I actually HATE to talk on the phone so I text as much as possible. I also want to be able to watch the occasional video. I still use my Ipod for music (I havent forced myself to switch yet) and I definitely use the web for stuff.

I also like to have a phone I can show off and explain to people that the iphone is not the only phone that can do the things it does haha.

I find it ironic that you get flamed if you ask to many questions because your not using the "search" function enough and if you ARE using the search function alot and NOT posting then your a "noob" and get no credit for being a member of the community regardless of your history.......

Exactly, people like to hide behind their keyboards and attack others when they would most likely never do it in person.
