Just picked up my Touch Pro at lunch...so far I love it. Can't wait to get home so I can customize the hell out of it.....

I lasted a whole month before flashing.

Any of the custom ROMs are much better than stock.

They hard reset it for me at BB when I got mine.

I will usually keep the stock ROM, but installing the programs I like and just setting it up for how I like for it to be.
I will use the Touch FLO interface for a bit before I decide if I will use it or go back to SPB Mobile shell like I had on the Mogul and regular Touch....

The reason I don't deal with the custom ROMs is that I am that experienced in it, and don't want to take the risk of bricking it....

Is there a free upgrade from 2.6 (I think that's the version I had back when I had the reg Touch)?

Don't think its out yet. When I was using it I was using version 2.1

One day when I grow enough balls, I'll try to use the kitchen to cook my own ROM. I'm afraid if I use some of the custom ROMs on this site it won't have some of the functionality I actually like and add some that I don't.
