Jawbone 2 disconnecting

I just purchased a Jawbone 2. Im running the stock sprint ROM:
V 1.03.651.3
Radio: 1.03.15F

As long as there is silence on the line for a period of time, around 1 1/2-2 minutes, the bluetooth disconnects and the Jawbone turns off. When in standby it stays connected so i dont think its the jawbone, at least alone. Im going to try BTKeepAlive and see if that helps any. Im also going to email Aliph tonight to see if they know of it. Has anyone else found a similar issue with the Jawbone? This never happened with my old Z9 (too bad that didnt block sound worth a ****).

If you search around here I think you'll find that it's very hit and miss with the BT headsets and the TP. I've had the same sort of issues with my phone and a MOTO H700 and 2 H710s. Those headsets were fantastic on the Mogul and my previous phones. I'm praying for a nice little OEM update to the bluetooth stack... otherwise I'll be trying out some new headsets very soon.

ugg i dont wanna give up my jawbone :'( Isnt Sprint and HTC working on an update for the TP?

Only problem i have with my jawbone 2 is that it makes a wierd *** zapping sound when im talking someone for 5 seconds or so doesnt dc though

I used J2 with the Mogul and now with TP, that biatch never disconnects,drops or misbehaves. Really dats is a good biatch

just got one too and it drops it just hangs up in the middle of talking.

I have the jawbone 2 and I have no problems I have 2 friends who have the Touch Pro and the Jawbone 2 also and they have not experienced any problems either, with the exception of one time she had talked and needed to charge the Jawbone up and it started making a buzzing noise. I hope you don't give up on the Jawbone 2 cause it is great earpiece once you get use to the positioning

my phone is due for a hard reset anyway, now i just need to pick a rom Im gunna assume its teh phone since its going slower than normal so ill just flash it to something new. Im never gunna get rid of it since, when it does DC, it doesnt stop the call so i just turn it back on and wait for it to reconnect. Ill do some experimenting tonight and see if a new rom will produce the same results.

i just got a jawbone 2 about a week ago also running on stock sprint rom and everything is perfect. i couldnt be happier! i replaced it with the original jawbone and that one worked well but it felt like i could look the wrong way and it would fall off.
