Scroll Wheel and POP Mail Fast Scroll

I have searched around the internet and did not find this. Seems this morning that I could use the Scroll Wheel to circle the wheel and flash thru the emails on my TP. This only happens after checking email and quickley circle the wheel and zoom thru all messages. At no other time will this work but jst after clicking send/receive mail.
I am using the Stock Rom
