I understand frustration at having to read something twice when you're trying to get through alot of posts....but perhaps we could just be a little less harsh when we inform people they posted a duplicate...

Sometimes its enough to frighten people into not wanting to post at all...

Not accusing anyone of anything...we ALL do it sometimes....

A mod once had to PM me to ask me to take a particular banner in my sig down, as it might be found offensive to some.

It was a gif of Samuel L Jackson saying (to the words of "Get these $^$&$^ %^#$^ snakes off this #$^#$^ &*$@ plane!") "Read the $$^&%^ @@#$% thread before you #$%$&$ @%#% post!)

So I'm just as guilty of it....I guess I'm just posting this because I got flamed for it earlier today and now I feel stupid heheheh

op, i wasnt flaming you, i think i minunderstood your post. i thought the op ment by this site being ppcgeeks, my fault there. i still thought there was no flame in my reply. if i see a thread thats here allready, i just say allready posted and post the original thread. as for xweaponx, i dont think i was being mod police. i help more people here than you ever will and i didnt deserve your comment.

I do think if someone does post something in the wrong area, or a duplicate thread it would be helpful if we provided the link to the correct forum. Far too often I've seen posts that do nothing but just say WRONG FORUM or DUP etc etc but that does not help anyone out. I'll be the first person to admit I'm guilty of that as well.

Mistakes happen, we are all human regardless of how many posts we have, or what our reputation level is.
