Verizon Touch PRO to SPRINT service???

A) Because for an ESN to work you have to change it to a known good ESN which will already be assigned to an existing device. AKA ESN "cloning". You could change it to a non-existant ESN but you'd have the same problem

B) ~1/3 less total program memory. Essentially Verizon took a perfectly good phone and took features away, probably why the OP bought it for so cheap.

You can get a legitimate like-new Sprint TP on ebay or Craigslist for ~$100, why anyone would purchase a Verizon phone is beyond me.

hmm, but I own both devices, I don't understand what's illegal about that.

Buzzer! lol. They run 150-180 on ebay on the cheap side. If you can find me one for ~$100

No point arguing about WHY it is illegal, it *is* illegal... literally...

And isn't your time worth something? Because it will take considerable time to do what you want successfully. The collective advice is to sell your Verizon TP and buy a Sprint TP with the $$$... it should be a wash... and save globs of time and actually keep you legal...

Not to get into the legal thing here, but is it possible to activate an alltel pro on Sprint? I have one I am trying to sell, but people are scared of not being able to get it activated since Verizon is a bust and all
