SPRINT Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24. Threading MMS works! (Updated 3-2-09)

Hrm... is there a secret way that I am missing to get to a "Save as..." function on pictures instead of just saving them as the generic MMS filename to the generic My Pictures folder?

Only if you count opening 'File Explorer', Go into your 'My Pictures', select and hold imagejpg_2.jpg (or whatever it is named), and hit Rename. Then if you want to move it somewhere else, then select and hold it, select cut, then go into the folder you want it, and hit Menu, edit, Paste.

Haha, yeah... obviously that works. Silly to not have a Save As in the app.

Do you have your usb connected to your computer? I noticed it giving me that error when I had mine connected with the phone in Activesync mode. The Activesync was not configured on my computer...(give me the setup whenever I connect it, but I don't use it to sync anyways)

I disconnected it, and hit retry, and it worked fine.

2. "Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24-pm.cab" is for the stock ROM, or someone that has installed Sprints Picturemail Cab. Don't think it works with ROMs that have Picturemail cooked in them.

I have the same problem as jadoe05. I am not connected to activesync when I try to send. It did the same thing last night. I reinstalled with the update and it is still a no go. Please help. I am using Juicy rom 4.7 by the way.

Yea, I agree... Would be much worse if they didn't have the save option at all

I sent a pic to myself about 10 minutes ago while connected to AS, it sent fine but I still haven't received it. When you setup your AS connection, it asks if you want to allow MMS while connected.

Ok, Try this... Open your text messages. Hit Menu, MMS Options. Select servers. Select Sprint. Where is says Connect Via:, Change that to The internet. If that doesn't work, try setting it to Sprint (Or NETWORK as it is on Mighty ROM 4.11-What I have on mine)

jason25, I have allowed that setting and it still won's send. This is a fresh install from yesterday as well. Any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.
