my earpiece is too loud

Mines loud too when listening to music at work. I like to be able to hear people who walk up to my desk. The volume button jumps in 20% increments. Is there any registry setting that will change the increment to 10%? I can change it to 10 % from the settings tab (sounds), but that's not as convenient.
