Turning off wifi

Anyone know of a way via reg hack to shut off wifi because I have no need for it and it keeps coming on? Thanks in advance...

I turned mines off by setting--connections--wireless lan--turn off and I have never had a problem with it coming on since I have had my touch pro for about 3 months now

Are you using any sort of profile application?

Nothing other than my instant messenger apps, but they aren't set to load automatically because I've checked them. There is nothing that I added on my phone recently to make it start coming on every 10 min. So it is a weird issue

i went thru registry and dont see anything currently that will disable it completely. Thats not to say there isnt a dword value that is capable of this. Ill research a bit later.

I saw that, I don't have spb installed and it is turned off already, just keeps coming on trying to look for a wifi network to connect too. Thanks though

Acoolguy, appreciate that, would be great if you find something which is why I posted this, I know there is a dword to change to make it not come on at all.

Have you tried disabling all startup programs?
