Best Car Mount!!! :)

Hello all,

I wanted everyone's input/opinions/experience with any and all car mounts for the htc touch pro as I am looking into the matter for myself.

I was looking for a mount that is easily installable ( i.e. suction cup, vent, cup, etc...), BUT....

The main thing I was looking for was a mount that allows you to be able to ROTATE the phone whilst in the holder AND open up the phone as well. A mount that has a built in charger is a plus but not necessary.

Again, please post your input/opinions/experince and if you could recommend one that'd be great.

The best mount you can buy is the ProClip, nothing else is even close but it does not allow you to slide the phone open while mounted (not many mounts do)

Seidio is the only one that allows you to actually rotate and open the keyboard while in the mount, I used to have one for the mogul but I dont think they have any for touch pro http://www.seidioonline.com/SearchRe...Search=car+kit

i just bought the car mount from sprint, very nice mount you can rotate but not open the keyboard:/

+1 on the ProClip (www.proclipusa.com) a little pricey, BUT well worth every penny. I currently have one for my Touch Pro and have use their mounts on several phones in the past.

Seidio makes a good charging base and speakerphone combo. The use of the speakerhone is less then desired though. I have had many people complain that they cant hear me well when using it. But it works great for Navigation voice prompts though.

i just use a magnet for my phone. no clips or anything. just put the phone on my dashboard, and then pull it off when i'm done. all i did was put a little piece of metal behind the battery cover, it works perfectly. i couldn't be happier with it.

verizon also sells one that mounts onto your vents, ive been using it for 2 years now, mogul and now the touch pro... no complains, u can adjust the vent clips so u can mount it horizontal or vertical...

plus its fully adjustable, so it holds my zune while i dont need the gps...
15 bucks or so locally too...so that is a plus if u need it fast

The problem with the Proclip mount is that it doesn't have a speaker out jack. Also, it doesn't charge as fast as it discharges.
