the multi adaptor can also be found at your local sprint store. Just tell them you lost it and more than likely they'll just give u a "replacement". I talked to a girl at a Sprint store, and came clean as to my reasoning for a new one and she told me they throw them AWAY all the time! Like when someone comes in and needs a replacement phone, most of the time the customer just wants the phone because all the accessories are already at home. So then the store is left with an abundance of accessories they don't have any use for.

Not sure if this was mentioned in the thread, but just wanted to point out that you can use any 3.5mm to analog RCA cable (red, white, yellow), for example the kind that comes with camcorders and/or some digital cameras.

I've owned 3 canon standard powershot point-and-shoot cameras over the last few years (first one broke, second got lost on a trip), and they all came with cables to plug into a TV for viewing photos/videos.
The only difference between these and, say, the iPod video ones, are that the pinout is switched.
To explain: Devices like the iPod video prioritize the first two connections to be the right and left channels for audio, since primarily you will be using headphones for music. Therefore, when adding a video channel (the yellow one of the RCA connections), it gets added to the end of the list, ie. the third connection.
Camcorders are different. Originally, camcorder to TV was NOT in stereo, so they used the same two connection as a standard headset 3.5mm jack- only instead of left and right, it would be a connection for video, and a connection for audio (color scheme on the cables was Yellow for video, and Black for mono audio).
Then, when commercial camcorders offered video + stereo, they added a third connection to carry the other audio channel at the end of the plug.

Therefore, the first pin on an ipod/media player connection is usually an audio channel (with the new pin for video) and on a camera/video component plug, its a video (with the new last one for the other audio channel).

They are usually color coded to help make sure you're plugging each into the right place, however aside from the aesthetic colors there is absolutely NO difference between these cables!
IE. if you have some of these 3.5mm to tri-color component jack adaptors, and it doesn't seem to be the "correct" kind (ie, the yellow doesn't carry the video), try switching them around to find the one with the video vs the two audio channels. The worst thing that will happen is that the stereo will be switched left and right, in which case you can just swap them.

I'm seeing people here say they're buying cables for this, but I'll bet some of you already have cables like this lying around- especially if you've even owned a digital camera!

Got mine to work, picture quality is ok and sound has a lot of static.

I am sure someone can gimme an easy fix to this issue that hopefully i AM JUST OVERLOOKING. i HAVE THE CAB INSTALLED AND THE VIDEO OUT WORKS, BUT WHEN USING MY DIFFERENT PLAYERS as soon as I go to full landscape mode the video out displays upside down on my tv . Could someone help me out here? I went into screen settings and tried left handed and right handed, went into the players settings and tried everything I could find there. Its fine except when playback of movies in landscape mode . Surely there has got to be something I am missing. Thanks in advance

Which player are you using? If youre using TCPMP, try: SETTINGS > ORIENTATION > Upside Down.
