i swear it was either in the ppc kitchen or GC's kitchen. cant remember which but i know it was installed in one of them. i think they are the only ones i used. i did have bored's rom installed for a little while but i dont think it was in that one.

already checked the PPC from inside the kitchen but couldnt find any of the OEM files going into the kitchen from c

pckitchen. bored's is just a premade rom with its own installer so i dont think i can get into that but i will try that as well.

anyone know if like best buy or whatever sells the right cord? i dont wanna go in there and buy the wrong thing lol

If you go in there and buy an "IPOD Video" cable - regardless of brand, you'll be OK. Besides it being "IPOD" - you have to make sure it has red, white and yellow connectors on one end - and a 3.5mm headphone-like jack on the other end.

Since IPOD is so common you can even go to a dollar store and probably find it - because you will certainly overpay at Best Buy compared to online.

Just one comment on the idiosyncrasies of this hack. It seems that both headphone and tv out are active at the same time, so there's significant slowdown when going through the menus. So menu movement is not as fast as with a regular or modded tv out cable - same thing with texting. Movies - especially with WMP - play as well as before, so that's what I used it for last night.

Because the phone thinks a headphone's plugged in as well as TV Out - you can use the Audio Boost program. Also - if you get a call, the speaker phone will NOT be enabled because it assumes you're talking through the headphones.
