Its good for if you have a room full of people and you want to give a presentation or even just look at youtube videos. You can also use it to play movies that you may have stored on your device. There are many reasons to use it. As a videographer I mainly use mine to show my work to potential clients and clients.

if you have a video in there wouldnt it really stretch if you put it on the tv and endup looking like ****?

Wow! That's awesome!
I just had an RCA cable lying around (from my camcorder) and this worked perfectly...I had to plug in the red cable in the yellow connector (Thanks UTSAFTW). I am so glad I didn't hack my multi-adapter

i use my home computer as a dvr to record tv programs and movies to watch when i am bored and uninspired. I stream to my ppc wherever i am. now i can watch full screen without having to hold my arms up with the phone until my arms go numb!

It actually looks pretty good if the video has VGA resolution or close to it.

No, but if the video config screen pops up after making the reg mod, it should work.

Scott's didn't have the hklm... "htc" path in the registry. I ran TouchFury's cab, and it populated the path, but I'm thinking I needed to reboot afterwards. I'll go test again right now.

**EDIT** that's exactly what it was.
The video config screen showed up, but since the registry keys were added with the cab after the initial boot, a reboot was necessary
