So you used the same dongle+cable+cab setup on your TP2 as on the TP, and it didn't work?

Smile Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

For the touch pro 2 you need to buy the standard HTC Touch pro USB plug, if you dont have one (The touch pro 2 doesnt come with one) then on the usb plug going into the phone remove pin 4 (with the usb plug down on a table the htc logo will be facing up on the actual adapter, the audio plugs and usb plug will be on the left, on the plug itself the do not throw away emblem will be facing down, and on the silver piece the box will be facing up, pin 4 is 4th from the bottome left... 4 away from the angled corner of the plug) I got mine out with a thumbtack and wiggling it very carefully til it fell out... you can expedite the process by plugging it in while the pin is wedged up, but i dont recommend it as it may damage the phone and plug.

Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

Has anyone been able to get this to work on a DASH 3G? I have change the registry, however when I hook up the OEM HTC cable or the video cable to the dongle, I get sound but no video. Am I missing some drivers or software maybe?

Thanks

Cool Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

I used my adapter I got with my HTC Touch Diamond for using a 3.5mm headset jack but continue to charge(HTC Branded) and installed the enable TV out .cab .

It took me a second to get it to work but not too long. I had to switch my RCA so the RED jack was actually the video.

The video quality was surprisingly amazing! Definintly worth the time and effort. Now, I can add GPS to my car's double DIN video screen. YouTube too!

Thank you for the .cab!
