Re: Will the touch pro sync with mac?

Once you go MAC you'll never go BACK!!! Guaranteed.

While I respect Hibby's post...I do have to beg to differ. Everything is better on my MBP. I can run Vista and OS X at the same time. Try to do that on a Winslowz machine and it will crawl to a halt!!!

Granted, flashing on a Mac in Parallels or Fusionware is virtually impossible...But you can always restart the MBP and run Vista in it's native environment.

Dude....If you can afford the MBP you can afford the money to purchase MissingSync. And believe me when I say....there is plenty of W A R E Z for the Mac. Just like everything else.

Give OggSync a shot, the PRO version allows for Multi-Cal support, with each calendar with it's own set of options (1-way sync, 2-way sync, etc).

I use OggSync to sync my calendar with my Google cal and it works with 2-Way Sync, which is great. And my Google Cal is synched with iCal so basically I have a 3-way synch set up here which works really well. You want to do a quick Google Search and find the cracked version floating around.

For Media, I just use Disk Mode to transfer/add/delete my picture/movies/music and just find that to be the easiest.
Does your computer recognize your phone in Disk Mode only no matter what? With or without Missing Sync or SyncMate?

And how does the cracked OggSync work? Because it's a subscription service and all, I'm kind of confused about that...

No, I have a choice to make it work with Disk Mode with USB to PC. I usually just use ActiveSync when using MissingSync/Sync Mate but I don't use either anymore. I do everything OTA.

As far as the OggSync, I think to be safe, you should PM me regarding that.

How did you get both MS and SM to install? I thought they conflicted at a kernel level.

Syncmate on why: http://wiki.eltima.com/knowledge-bas...ct-driver.html

This is true and I can vouch for it. You can't have them both functional.....

Missing sync works great for me.

Re: Will the touch pro sync with mac?

I got the mac today. My roomate isn't here to adjust the security settings on the router so I can't connect with anything but this laptop. I tried tethering with bluetooth and internet sharing, but it connects for a minute then it disconnects after a couple seconds. No Idea why haha

Sorry, I meant to say that I have had both on my MBP and have used both one after another to see how they work individually.

It does cause a conflict trying to run use both.

Re: Will the touch pro sync with mac?

How does OggSync perform with contacts? I recently started using NuevaSync, which works great for my calendar (11 total in iCal), also using BusySync, so iCal, google and my phone are all synced 3-way automatically. However, every time my contacts sync with google using nuevasync, google seems to reformat a bunch of my contacts, which just causes more problems.

Also, how do you sync apple address book with google contacts? Better question, what is the best way to 3-way sync address book, google contacts and the phone? Ultimately, I don't want to connect my phone to my computer for anything except file transfers and internet sharing.
