I used the SPJ cab fix and it sure worked for me! I'm running Mighty 4.13. I tested the lag from before to after and WHOA it can keep up with me no problem!!

Your SIP dont use eztouch it lags it up.. Instead use the default small one..
and classic completion.. NO more lag after words..

I can attest to the fact that reg tweaks or disabling t9 really does nothing for the text lag issue (which is were it is most apparent). I believe that this is the placebo effect, or that the people that see improvement do not type as fast as some of us that see the lag even after tweaks.

One thing I did notice is that it might not just be software related. I saw that when I was texting and I pressed the Fn key, the light lagged to turn on also.

The contents of that cab are just two reg edits which every new rom has cooked in already.. I know mine does.. I think it only makes things worse lol..
Only because now its going to fast and you type the same letter like 4 times..

Just switch to the default keyboard as the sip and get your speed back best solution IMO..

To get the default keyboard, do you just not use any sips during rom creation? Like the dialer?

Is the SIP selection to original good enough, or do the other SIP have to be uninstalled or somehow unregistered?

No I used eztouch but you can switch it from inside the rom..
Just bring up the sip and select if you want full qwerty, compact qwerty or what ive been talking about the hole time just a regular titan aka mogul keyboard](*,)

Ah! You mean use the tiny keyboard that looks as a real one as default... Yeah, just tried, that still gives me lag. And I have word completion completely deactivated.
