How do I save Google Maps Favs and Opera bookmarks between ROM upgrades?

I'm using MIghtyROM and there seems to be a new revision everyweek, i TRY hard not to upgrade but i'm always falling for it haha. I saved a bunch of favorite locations in Googlemaps and since the upgrade to 4.10, I lost them all. Opear bookmarks aren't a big deal but I'm pretty bummed about the GoogleMaps fiasco.

The opera bookmarks are easy. Just back up the file Opera.adr that is in the Opera directory in Windows.

As for the Google favorites, you could try backing up the files that are in the GoogleMaps directory in the ApplicationData directory. Obviously, dont keep the cache file. Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone know which file I need to back up? I checked them all and they are .dat files and when opened with notepad they just display a bunch of squares and stuff.

I just backup everything in the Application Data\GoogleMaps folder. It saves everything. It's only about 1 mb in my case. I flash about 3 times a week on average.

Ill try this then but still think its only 1 of those files that is needed. Adding all those files from an old google maps to a newer version I would think might mess it up a little. Anyone know how to open those .dat files to see which one has the favorites stored in it?

you could do what I do, restore the backup and then install a new ver of Gmaps over it!
