Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
OK well I found a discrepancy. Not rally a big issue, but in file explorer, if I'm in a sub folder, the menu pops up just fine after trying to select a new location from up above, but if I'm in "My Device" then the drop down is the normal kind. So I dunno, I guess it's not a big deal, but its still an inconsistency.

Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
I have downloaded and it works great, just a couple of questions.
This downloads 2 programs twice on my Programs Menu under main button. 2 of Close and 2 of Config. Then in listing, there is a 3rd. Very strange. Close does nothing. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled. Soft reset both times. Is this correct - bugs me having duplicate programs with one that doesn't function |

Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
Thanks for checking, I downloaded the cab, installed, to Diamond Internal Memory, checked auto start.
Checked File Explorer, it is not loaded in Internal Memory, its in Device. Checked Programs, had two icons each for Config and Close. Program works great, but don't want on My Device to save storage. And don't want cluttered Program file. |

Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
I have a black/gray theme on my phone, so I changed the selection color to black with a gray gradient. I thought I'd share it in case anyone is interested and doesn't want to bother changing it themselves. All you have to do is unzip the file (there is a VGA and QVGA version inside), turn off FingerMenu, copy the PNG to program files/fingermenu, and then soft reset. I'm at work and cannot post a screen shot, but I'll try to remember this evening.

Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
I thanked you for the answer, followed your directions, still shows up twice on programs menu, but it does work. I checked remove programs, only listed once, no idea. I just try to keep phone clean when I install, so I know what I did if I don't like it.
Will use it and hopefully it works well. Thanks again for the help. |

Let me ask this rather silly question OK I download the fingermenu cab file. what exactly do "they" mean by replacing the exe's from the fingermenu cab file with the exe's in the compessedone (file) I downloaded both and nzipped he compressed but thats as far as I got... Please help |

Re: Fat finger-friendly menus for WM here
When you run the .cab file on your phone, it will install the program. Once it is installed, you can use your phone's file explorer to navigate to the different directories like you can on a computer. This is talking about going into my device/program files/fingermenu. Once in that directory you will see the .exe files that are being discussed. Without replacing the .exe's that are installed when you initially run the .cab file, the menu loads really slow. Replacing the .exe's with the compressed version will cause it to open instantly with no delay.
