iNav iGuidance 2009

Last night I've tested iNav iGuidance 2009 on my touch pro and I'm sad to inform you that has the same lag as Garmin Mobile XT (3-5 sec.). On the top of that I had to use tweak to start this app with gps since iGuidance ( same as prev. ver.) is not recognizing build-in gps.

So far from all gps apps I've used ( tomtom , iguidance 4, 09, garmin XT, igo IGo8 is my favorite one with fast screen refresh and almost no lag while driving.

It varys from person to person, no news here.... Mine lags by up to a mile with TeleNav, no lag at all with Garmin XT.

I do not believe I am... I am using Juggalo's 0.08 ROM though if that makes any difference?

Re: iNav iGuidance 2009

iGuidance worked fine with my touch pro no tweaks or mods needed. However, it sucks *** to say the least.

iGO8 is definitely my new favorite since my free Telenav stopped being free :-[

Re: iNav iGuidance 2009

Have you done the tweaks listed here to improve the performace?
http://blog.mohdimran.com/2008/11/ht...-tweaking.html

I found that after doing these my GPS was spot on in both Google Maps and TomTom 7, try these and see if they work for you?

Re: iNav iGuidance 2009

iGuidance works fine if I use a virtual port using Franson GPSGate. If I don't, then yeah it lags horribly. I can't use telenav for more than 30 minutes or so as it heats up the phone and the battery stops charging. Pretty gay.

Re: iNav iGuidance 2009

What's the manufacturing date of your phone?

My phone has no GPS lag beside the like 200-1000ms polling interval. Both Garmin and Google Maps show me as in the correct spot (as much so as a 1 second refresh rate on Garmin and Googlemaps can show) even going at 60mph
