Broken Keyboard

Hey All, wondering if anyone else has had issues with their keyboard not working. It lights up when I slide it open but doesn't detect keystrokes. I'd rather not have to send it back if I can avoid it as I'm far from home and the celly is my lifeline. I haven't flashed a new rom or anything, everything is stock. Thanks!

Have you tried a soft reset? Hard reset?

Have you installed any new programs on it?

Never had that issue. I've used multiple ROM's

I would try a hard reset before sending it back.

I've tried hard and soft resets. I have heard that zeroing out the memory to default could help but am hesitant to try that, especially if there's no real proof of that helping.

I've had that happen but a soft reset fixes it for me.

I'd say its a defective unit then. You'll have to get it exchanged.

Had same problem. Replaced for new one in sprint store.

Sorry to keep banging on about this, but this has only just happened, the keyboard has been working for the most part for the past month and a half since I got the phone. I'm pretty sure I am going to have to replace it though, thanks for your input.
