It uses Sprints MMS servers, so it doesn't bypass sprint servers. So you will be able to view it online.

Thanks, this worked for me after many failed attempts before. For those that are not having luck, I think it is in the cleanup steps. Have to be sure to get the registry completely cleaned up. I made sure I deleted the keys , not just the values. For example many of the keys noted are subkeys of HKCU\Software\VeriSign\ ... I deleted the entire VeriSign key (as the only subkey under it in my case was PictureMail.

Also, for the record, I did not edit the server to the IP address, and it still works both sending and receiving in my case, stock Sprint TP in SoCal.

yeah, i didn't change the url to an ip address either, and its working from eastern long island to nyc. videos are also sending fine, i sent a 4mb video to my ex (sprint to sprint) and she got it right away (she has the stock sprint picturemail installed).

i'm gonna keep playing with it.

i have a question though... say that i'm not connected to the internet, like now my phone's connected to activesync, and someone sends me a pic. will i receive it when it connects back online?

i dunno if anyone else is having this problem, but by default the notifications are set for it to ring, not vibrate, and flash the led... the led continues flashing way after the message has been read, it doesn't ring, nor does it vibrate when enabled. very odd... and if i go into the settings, from text messages -> pics and video options, the whole system breaks and i have to uninstall and install again.

i'm gonna troll through the registry some more and see if something else is conflicting with it. when its working though, it works very well. i haven't changed any settings at all this time around, and it works fine. but as soon as i try to change something, it breaks. i deleted the entire picturemail reg section under verisign, i thought maybe that would fix it, but it hasn't..

why when i view any pic with sound or video it says everything is 5 seconds? but if i look at contents the whole thing is there? Anyone got any ideas

Why does this only give me the option to send to contacts email?? anybody else have this problem? i'm on Mighty ROM
