File Sharing Over WiFi Network

I can't figure out how to get my Touch Pro to see my shared folders on my desktop. I have successfully connected my TP to my wifi network but internet sharing is all i get. How do I browse to my folders that I have set up to share on my desktop (My Music, My Pictures....). I do have a laptop which is networked with my desktop and that works fine. I'm using XP by the way.

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

Is this even possible? It would be nice to drag and drop photos or music off my desktop PC to my TP while on my couch with out having to use activesync.

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

You need the Network folder plugin, and map some of your shares on your TP.

Re: File Sharing Over WiFi Network

for anyone else who was having the problem that I had, I had to do a soft reset after turning on wifi before my network was shown as a drive to map. To clarify, my wifi network connected immediately, showing me as connected after entering my WPA password. The problem was that even though I was on my Wifi, no drives were showing up to add until the soft reset. After that, I just had to enter my user name, password and domain name (to access the router) and I'm good to go. Now I just need to figure out how to activesync over my network.
