Re: What can you do with your Touch Pro

Lots of cool ideas here. I definitely don't take full advantage of my Pro.
Here's what I'm currently using it for

-Check the weather before I get out of bed (thanks to the weather database editor)
-Browse the internet with Skyfire and Opera.
-Use Live Search a lot for looking stuff up (way quicker than the phone book) and gps.
-Kinoma for listening to podcasts and news radio on my Jabra BT 530. Also watching Monty Python videos, and BBC "Top Gear" videos, plus much more that I'm discovering. Kinoma is way cool!
-Listen to Lexy. Check it out at lexy.com - sign up, pick your quick casts and call in every day to listen to them. I won a plantronics 925 from them just for signing up and listening. (anyone want to buy it?).
-Take pictures and email them to customers to help solve technical problems.
-Some phone call, but not many - people are a hassle.

Re: What can you do with your Touch Pro

Qwik is probably the app I use the most. I love it
Last.fm radio at work is a godsend
Google maps, and latitude so people know if I'm p***** out in a ditch
Skype, to talk to my mom without using hers or my minutes
1 - Calc for converting stuff for meteorology class
Internet sharinf for when my router goes out
Instant messaging to talk to my friends on AIM during work
Youtube - To watch videos during work cuz it's blocked haha
MS Word - To write lyrics and homework when I'm on the train.
Windows media player - To listen to stuff I recorded.
Sprint Navigation Live Search: To find my way around!
Camera: to record my friends dancing drunk at the bar

I use things here and there, but not as much as stuff listed above.

Re: What can you do with your Touch Pro

First off I want to say thank you for the post...I just ordered both accessories you mentioned...the windhsield mount and the T505...they are both exactly what I've been wanting to get. I have tried two seperate FM transmitters...both work ok..but not that great. The T505 sounds perfect. The windhsield mount I havent tried yet...so this one seemed good to me.

As for your question...I VNC into my home PC all the time just to browse the web on a real PC or to set a program to record in Media Center...or any old thing. I use ORB to stream TV I've recorded with Vista MEdia Center, as well as live TV..to my phone. It also does Pictures, Music, and files as well. I use it to tether to my laptop via USB or Bluetooth to get net access. I connect it to my PC monitor at work sometimes on weekend to get a bigger viewing screen when I stream my TV from orb. I use it to Geocache with an application called "Geoscout"..it downloads caches from www.geocaching.com right to your device according to wherever you are in the world, then assists in finding the cache. I use Sprint Navigation (and sometimes TomTom) for my in car navigation. I use Smartphone Tracker to keep tabs on my friends, and they do the same for me. We've recently started using Google Maps with Laditude...and I have joined the PPCGeeks Laditude group to see where my fellow PPCGeeks are located. I watch Youtube while taking a smoke break...and sometimes use Skyfire to watch Hulu.

I've done a lot more at different times with it...but those are some of my daily activies LOL

Oh yah...I also talk on it

Re: What can you do with your Touch Pro

Not look like a completely worthless piece of $hit sitting on this giant pink *ucking couch in the middle of Nordstroms while my fiance looks for another worthless shirt that is going to sit in the *ucking closet with the tags on it for at least 18 months before she decides she doesn't like it and returns it for pennies on the dollar. Yay me.

I still look like a *ucking tard, but at least now I'm a *ucking tard with Uno.

Have you tried any other geocaching applications on your device?
