Home Screen Calendar Help

For whatever reason, on my home screen, my calendar displays either the previous day's all day event or the next day's all day event instead of my next upcoming event for today. Ex: It says All Day Tomorrow: Valentine's Day instead of displaying my dinner appointment tonight. Any thoughts? Thanks!
